I need help! Your task is to conduct a web quest in order to identify some of our modern-day heroes, to define what it is that makes them heroic, and to evaluate where they fit in to your personal definition of a hero. Read the following instructions:

1. Conduct a web quest using the accompanying graphic organizer to guide you.

2. Identify contemporary heroes, note their acts of heroism, and reflect on their importance to contemporary culture.

3. Compose a written research statement answering the question, “What is a Modern-Day Hero?” Your statement should be no more than 200 words in length and MUST incorporate examples and evidence from your web quest.

4. Document your sources (does not have to be formal)
