The building started to collapse as the storm continued. I began to feel the shiver in my body. For a couple of days, we were informed over the radio and television that there would be a heavy storm in the city. But none of us took it seriously.I was one of the crew in the cruise ship. At first I was excited to see the hurricane and did not realize the seriousness of it. I woke up listening to the rattling of the windows and doors. Within seconds, water started to gush inside through the windows.We all rushed to a small place at the bottom of the cruise. There was no power and all our internet connections and phones went off. We understood there was nothing we could do against natural disasters.
