If the first woman God ever made was strong enough to turn the world upside down all alone, these women together ought to
be able to turn it back, and get it right side up again! And now they is asking to do it, the men better let them.
If this speech were made part of a fictionalized adaptation, the phrase little man in black might be changed, for clarity. Why?

A) Men wear black more often in our time.
B) She is referring to a clergyman or preacher.
C) Calling the man 'little' could be offensive.
D) People might think she was referring to his character.
