Winter dreams is a story which revolves around the actions of the main character of the story who is named Dexter. Dexter had the motivation to become rich and his actions to become rich is around what the whole story revolves.

By the end of the story, Dexter does get his dreams fulfilled and does become rich but by then he realizes that he had lost all other things in his life, his happiness, his innocence, his relations and so on.
