Everyone goes through hard times. However, it is how someone over comes a difficult experience, that shows who they really are as a person. More than often, when someone experiences a difficult time, they tend to want to give up. However, the ones who decide to fight a difficult time head on, often comes out successful. If you were to put two people in the same difficult experience, they would do two different things. One may give up, and the other may try and seek every possible outcome, and proceed with what they determine the best route. This is how difficult experiences can determine who we really are, as a person. Going through a difficult experience may bring out the best in someone. It may show hidden talents, or social skills, such as the will to fight, strength, determination, bravery, and a much more knowledge than one may think they are capable of. In conclusion, this is how difficult experiences, can define us to the most truest potentials.  

Experiences help us learn from our past. By going through them we can learn to better ourselves.  For example, last week I stayed up late instead of studying for an important test. This resulted in a bad grade and an upset teacher. So now I know what my proritys are and I can change certain habits.
