A Picnic with a Princess

Keith had been a squire for more than a year now. He had to ensure that all of the knights had all of their armor and weapons before battle. The knights entered jousting matches where they would challenge one another for sport while on horseback. Keith loved to watch the jousting matches. They were extremely challenging, but the best part of all was that the winner would be invited to a picnic with the beautiful princess, Amina.
Princess Amina had visited Keith once while he was caring for the horses in the stables. She had politely asked him to show her how to brush the mane of one of the horses. After he heard her kind voice request his assistance, Keith was eager to show Princess Amina all he knew about caring for the horses. Since the two were from different parts of the kingdom, neither had ever met before that day. And now, anytime that Keith watched the jousting matches, he imagined the day when he would become a knight. He was sure he would be the one to win and be invited to the princess's picnic. It would be a great day to reunite with his friend that he had first met in the stables.

Will mark as brainliest excerpt from the christmas carol: use this information to deepen your understanding of the character. oh! but he was a tight-fisted hand at the grindstone, scrooge! a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner! hard and sharp as flint, from which no steel had ever struck out generous fire; secret, and self-contained, and solitary as an oyster. the cold within him froze his old features, nipped his pointed nose, shriveled his cheek, stiffened his gait; made his eyes red, his thin lips blue; and spoke out shrewdly in his grating voice. a frosty rime was on his head, and on his eyebrows, and his wiry chin. he carried his own low temperature always about with him; he iced his office in the dog-days; and didn’t thaw it one degree at christmas. race: use this organizational method to guide your writing- r – restate the prompt a – answer the prompt/questions c – cite evidence e – explain the evidence write your response here:
