How does nature in wordsworth’s poetry differ from nature in Byron’s description of the Byronic hero

William Wordsworth considers nature as a source of wisdom and beauty. He believes in Pantheism, a philosophy according to which God lives in nature where all the answers to the question of man are. For Wordsworth, nature is something from which we can learn, something to be understood.

Instead, Lord Byron considers nature as reminiscent of light and dark forces as well as part of the human being. He portrays nature as enigmatic and fascinating, but he has a practical attitude toward nature. He observes landscapes and sees landscapes, not hidden messages coming from them. Unlike Wordsworth, Byron does not mingle his sense of individuality with nature.
