❏ How do they interact with each other?
❏ What is the main focus of the painting?
❏ Where does your eye go first?
❏ How does the painter use space?
❏ What is in the foreground?
❏ What is in the background?
❏ What colors does the artist use?
❏ Are there any interesting or unusual details in the painting?
❏ What might the artist's interpretation of the characters or scene be?

2. Now, watch the film version that depicts the scene from your chosen painting.

3. In a short essay of three paragraphs, explain how the painting and film version portrayed the same scene differently. What details did the painter add in or leave out? What details did the film add in or leave out? Use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure throughout your work. Submit your paper to your instructor.
