Without knowing nothing of the man I can picture him by imagining the importance of being hungry mentally. ¨Stay foolish¨ is more ambigious to me; in the sence of preserving certain ¨childish¨  and ingenuous aspects or maybe more like believing in things that the world as such considers to be ¨foolish¨.

¨Without deviation from the norm progress is not possible¨  pops up in my mind. The phrase is by Frank Zappa and it summons up my belief - and maybe also that of Steve Jobs - that, although the whole world considers you a fool, you might be right in your mental deviation.

"Stay hungry. Stay foolish." = Dream big and try new things
