To celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, we will be learning about the lives of some Latino Americans. Your assignment is to find biographical (life story) information about ten famous American women of Hispanic/Latino descent. Be sure that you find the following information about each person: date of birth, country of origin, how she (or her family) came to the United States, why she is famous, and how the person died (if applicable). We will use the information that you gather in the research on an in-class project. Be sure to keep track of your sources; your final project will require a works cited page.

Which electronic bulletin board described might have helpful information for the research project?

A) Women’s History Month—Keeping Emory’s students informed about events on campus in March.
B) Rediscovering Heritage— A professor's question and answer forum to discover more about famous Latinos.
C) Divalicious – Women sharing cooking secrets and other helpful household tips--this month’s theme: Latino Food.
D) Salsa 24/7—Dance enthusiast information for Metro Atlanta. Do you know of a hot dance spot? Post it on Salsa 24/7 now!
