An appeal to the audience is a mode of persuasion in which the audience analyze the credibility of the speaker, whether the speaker is aware of the topic he/she is speaking about.

When a speaker gives a presentation to his peer group to persuade them to raise funds for the clean water, he/she should add facts and statistics in his/her presentation.When statistics are included in the presentation, it helps the audience to know the real picture of the problem or how serious the problem is. The presentation also should include the reasons why lack of clean water is considered a problem. It should also include images that show pictures of how people are forced to drink unclean water because of a lack of clean water in the area.
