Everyone has the opportunity to make the world a better place. Volunteering is one of those things that can help both parties. The volunteer gains experience that can enhance your resume, gives you a good feeling and give you experience that can help shape you for the rest of your life. It also helps out the recipient or recipients of your service.

One way of helping other people is to donate your clothes to the poor. For instance, I brought my old clothes to an orphanage. The teenage girls who live there with no support from their parents really appreciated it. On the other hand, I did not need these clothes anymore, and by donating, I made more space in my wardrobe. The whole experience was really rewarding, as it is very fulfilling to help those in need. Another way of helping people is to donate food to the poor or money to the sick who cannot afford therapy.

i would say c, admiration because the narrator related to the main character and she, too, once felt ashamed about her culture and wished to be an american girl to impress a boy. she felt admiration because her mom prepared her favorite foods when her and robert's (the guy she liked) family all came together and had a family reunion.
