In recent years more than 3.5 million children in ages 14 and younger get hurt annually playing sports? The highest rates of injury occur in sports that involve contact and collusions. No wonder, parents are concerned about letting their children play sports like; Â basketball, baseball, and football where serious injuries can occur. However, teens should be allowed to play dangerous sports for a number of reasons.
Teens should be allowed to play whatever sport they want as long as they feel comfortable and want to do it. It is a fact that doing dangerous sports like; climbing, rafting, boxing, scuba diving, etc. makes your heart healthier, it can be a stress reliever, and healthier muscles. It’s somehow more dangerous than common exercise and activities, but it allows you to rely in yourself and leave your comfort zone. Teens should be allowed to play dangerous sports because playing sports whether they are dangerous or not gets the teens off their phones. Teens are on their electronics too much and physical activity avoids it. People who play sports are way healthier and happier than the people who don’t. On the other hand, it  also can be dangerous because it’s easier to get hurt on dangerous sports, especially if that person is new at it. If the person is comfortable at what they do,  then no worries but sometimes you want to try something new and are not always the best at it which can get you hurt. However, the participant can overcome the lack of experience in a dangerous, new sport by starting slowly, studying videos, and make use of safety equipment. Although, it’s important to be active and not be on a phone… Playing certain sports can cause them to get hurt. In conclusion, teens should be able to play dangerous sports as long as you’re safe, love what you're doing, and wearing the protected gear. Playing dangerous sports can cause injury but, there are many ways people can control it and people can prevent injuries by being safe. With teens playing dangerous sports, it will make them be active which is very important for all teens. Teens who play dangerous sports could inspire other people to be like the people who do play sports.
