It is said that many people actually died in attempt to cross the border. The story centers on how Diez, together with the other immigrants, faced hardships in crossing the border such as "human trafficking." There was also a woman who became delirious and died while traveling the dessert with the group.

With strong will, Diez was able to let the group survive and finally, they could reach their destination in the end.
