great white sharks are at the top of the food chain and are fierce predators. they are omnivorous, eating just about anything they can sink their teeth into. some sharks can go for one and a half months between meals. they prefer to hunt large fish such as other sharks, tuna, dolphins, and sea turtles. they can eat about .2 to .6 percent of their own body weight each day.
