What does it mean when a name appeals to you

i'm not positive, but i felt this on another level.

i believe it has to do with how you were raised and what you are accustomed to. names tend to have a certain feel to them and you might like the way they feel when you say them, or you like the characteristics that come to mind when you think of that name.

ah, that means it appeals to emotion (pathos),   btw.
