Abiographical narrative is a life experience written about someone else. however, for this assignment, you will write
from the perspective a character in the crucible as if you are them. usually the subject is an important or key event.
you will choose an event that was mentioned in the play, but that we do not actually have full details about, and then
write that event. this cannot be a scene we saw or that was explained by the characters.
this will be a 2-3 page, typed biographical narrative in mla format. you will need a creative title. the point is to
show your ability to use figurative language in order to tell a story-their story. the reader needs to feel, see, taste, hear,
and smell it transport us into that moment of their life. let us know who they really are, if only for a single moment.
you need to use language fitting for your character. this means dust off the thesaurus, look up how to spell those
words you know but can't remember how to spell, and use advanced sentence structure. if your character is angry, let
us feel their anger. if they are sad, let us feel dat too. remember that dialogue moves a story. you need to transition
smoothly and not sound like you are making a list. run-ons are not appropriate here. this should sound like them.
meaning use words/phrases that they would use. this is called voice.
