types of tobacco cigars cigarettes chewing tobacco and snuff. won of his teammates
john clarkson smoked a great deal. clarkson has so much nicotine on him billy
said he turns the bathwater brown. ironically, tobacco companies of the 1880s
often gave away baseball cards with their products. billy sunday cards use to be
found in packages of old judge and other brands of cigarettes. those cards are
worth alot of money today. its also ironic that sunday who so strongly disliked
tobacco died of lung cancer at age 47. you can read all about him in baseball
illustrated magazine.
