My parents gave me the possibility of choosing an extracurricular activity, I know they expected me to pick football, but my secret interest was to know how to play guitar.

At first, I did what I knew they wanted for me and start practicing football. Actually, it was very fun. I had a great time and met a lot of people, but deep down inside my real interest was still very awake.

After two months of football practice, I told my parents that I liked football, but that my real goal was to play the guitar. I didn't know what to expect from them, because my big brother has always been great at every sport, but they really understand me and were very supportive.

They help me find the best teacher, and the next week I was starting guitar lessons. I felt so happy I couldn't hide my enthusiasm, and my parents were very proud of me. I felt like this was meant to be for me, I felt comfortable and full. I understood then that I felt this way because I was being real with myself and with my desire, I was accepting myself and doing what I wanted and not what others expected from me.

gilgamesh is an epic hero from birth, as he's brought to the world by the hand of several gods who shaped him with the goal of saving humanity. there's a passage from the text that reads "the glorious sun shamash bestowed upon him glory; adad the terrible god of storms bestowed upon him courage. the great gods perfected his magnificence beyond all others, terrible like the great wild bull". this is a great example that show some of the super-human qualities that the gods gave gilgamesh upon his birth.

as gilgamesh grows he has to face many challenges that put his heroism to task. the courage he displays along the way, prove that he's ready to live up to the godly qualities brought upon him. at one point he has to overcome a wild beast by the name of hubamba "whose roar is a flood, whose mouth is fire, whose breath is death", as the text reads. the actions taken by gilgamesh, beating the beast with the use of his super-human force, examplify why he shoud be thought of as an epic hero.
