How does the author develop the plot in “how a cat played robinson crusoe”?

the cat endures one conflict after another and all conflicts are resolved when the children return.

in each chapter, the seasons change and each conflict the cat faces is related to a season.

the cat has ongoing conflicts with rats which continue until the cat kills the last rat.

in each chapter, the cat faces a conflict which is resolved by the end of the chapter.

explanation:

and the reason being is because she get me in trouble for the smallest things that i really don't be doing all the time it be my friends that's around me.and i love to do things that other people but when she get on my nerves i don't talk to no one i just sit there and do my work half the time.
