my youth group and i worked for three hours mowing, blowing, raking, and trimming our church playground. and that was
after picking up loose trash from the parking lot. we complained about our aching muscles, but i have to admit that it was
kind of fun. while i waited for my brother to pick me up, i saw a lady and two little kids get out of a car. the kids were happily
squealing as they raced to the playground. the lady smiled when she saw me sitting, surrounded by my rake and leaf blower.
she shouted, "the playground looks marvelous, young man! "
which provides the best conclusion to this narrative paragraph?
i joined her and her kids and we played for hours, laughing and enjoying
the playground.
i realized it was my great aunt louise and my two cousins, so we all
enjoyed the playground.
just then my brother pulled up, so i smiled and waved, not minding the
aching muscles in my arm quite so much
for a second, i remembered being a little kid myself, so i smiled and hoped
those kids appreciated all of my hard work.
