the stub of my shirt's tag is digging into my neck. last night i cut off the
tag, but now the stub is sharp. i pull the back of my shirt around and yank
the piece off. it makes a small hole, but it feels better.

that's what i get for wearing a new shirt for the first day of school. i usually
wear the same outfit every day. i guess i thought this new shirt would be
okay because it's soft and blue (of course). "ask me my superpower" is on
the front in bold red letters; i was told that would be a "conversation starter."
