for most people, sleeping at least eight hours a night the brain function properly. studies show that a proper amount of sleep improve learning. whether a person is learning a new subject or learning how to play a new sport or instrument, getting enough sleep improves memory and the ability to solve problems. getting enough sleep at night a person learn more efficiently during the day. conversely, a lack of sleep weakens the memory and causes slower processing times in the brain. people who do not sleep well at night are less productive in school and extracurricular activities because it takes them longer to finish tasks.
