1. the textbook offers four suggestions for becoming a better listener. can you list and describe each of the four? 2. watch the ted talk - "5 ways to listen better" and go into detail about the 5 and how might they change how you listen. write about how they might possibly you in situations that you find yourself in at present. your reply to the original topic questions must be a minimum of 200 words. you must reply to at least two classmates’ postings with a minimum of 50 words each. respond with a thought-provoking comment on the ideas and research presented. do not simply comment on grammar and rhetoric. in order to receive full credit your reply to the original question and your peer comments must be on two separate days. (there is a 20% penalty for posting responses on the same day.) you must cite with either page numbers or sections from the text next to your writing as well as the video if present to support your opinions or you will not receive a grade.

What is implied in this sentence from mark twain's "the £1,000,000 bank-note"? i was puzzled, and wanted to discuss the matter a little further, but they didn't; so i took my leave, feeling hurt and insulted to be made the butt of what was apparently some kind of a practical joke, and yet obliged to put up with it, not being in circumstances to resent affronts from rich and strong folk.
