What type of conflict is described in the passage?
the rain was getting heavier with every passing minute. claire stared out the window nervously, hoping that the rain would soon slow down. her son jamie was in school, and she had to go get him. classes were let out early due to the storm, and jamie’s teacher told claire she should pick up her son as soon as possible. claire knew that waiting to pick up jamie wasn’t a good idea, so she rushed out with her keys and umbrella.
