The speeches you’ve read in this lesson were delivered at very different times in america’s history and yet they addressed many of the same themes and concerns. do both speakers want the audience to think, feel, or do the same things? in one speech, president roosevelt addressed the entire nation. in president obama’s speech he spoke to a relatively small crowd during a welcoming ceremony. in what ways is the historical context important? reading the speeches using different critical lenses or perspectives should you in your analysis.

3) literary language (because it's text with a rich, descriptive vocabulary)

4) scientific texts (includes texts such as medical reports, legal texts, academic journals, etc)

5) informational texts (texts that are used to convey information to readers, such as technical guides, costumer guides, textbooks)

6) poetic texts. because they are essays, short stories, poems, etc.

either online or traditional classroom can work for students. which is better will depend on students and teacher. students may have trouble following a lesson in classroom while they can study at their own pace online. other students may have trouble staying focus on their own in online classes. teachers are more used to classroom teaching but they may also be more worry about their jobs teaching online classes and work harder.
