The tragic flaw of Juliet’s character reflected in this excerpt is her loyalty to Romeo. Juliet is so much in love and loyal to Romeo that she could not think to live without him. Therefore, to be forever with him she had to die along with him. Juliet's loyalty was her strength as she was willing to take the potion that would make her appear to be dead and would save her from marrying Paris. Eventually, her loyalty is also the reason for her demise.
