The differences between high school and middle school:

- Academically, you are getting ready and preparing for college, as well as preparing for the real world.

- Your peers are often more mature in behavior. In addition, you are given more privileges, such as the opportunity to eat lunch off campus.

Similarities:

- Both middle school and high school have very similar routine structures, e.g periods, different teachers for each subject.

- You often have the same typical electives, just more advanced.

- Both offer clubs and sports.
