Ineed on this question: what do katniss and the others find outside district 13?

This is where they go to hunt for food.  Because there is little meat in District 13, they must go beyond the fence in search of anything they can hunt.  This will later prove to help her in the games.  Also outside the district, she uses this time to think and ponder her life as there is much solitude since there are very few people out there.
