How are tock and humbug alike and different in phantom toll booth

Tock is brave, loyal and very responsible while the Humbug is a coward, selfish and talks endlessly.  Though they are both different they become Milo’s companions in the story.  In a way Milo learns from both characters of what and what not to do.
