Sitting near the front of the classroom

Sitting near the front of the classroom facilitates interaction with the professor.

According to the different types of classroom seating arrangements, using the traditional lecture setup (students in rows)  commonly used in colleges and universities, the highest communication interactions between students and professors occurs with the ones that are in the first line of seats.  Students in back rows are more likely to be distracted with other stuff.
