I disagree with the mayor making our city have a television-free week. Many people need to watch TV to know what the weather will be like so that they can prepare for their day. Parents may also rely on cartoons to entertain their children while they take care of other things at home. Besides, it'd just be disappointing to wake up on the weekends and be unable to watch any sports! Therefore, I don't think having a television-free week is a good idea at all.
