The rhyme is also to be considered: "mile with stile" ; " mouse with house". They end with the same sound. The couplet has got  this  pattern AABB.

The effect of the sound devices make the rhyme suitable for little kids. Kids enjoy the sound of words, so if these get to be repeated kids will feel pleasure  for some time. Repetition makes pleasure last. The rhythm pattern makes the text suitable to be sung and danced. Kids love moving their bodies. The sound devices add a soothing and pleasant effect that will make children have a good time.
