What is women’s suffrage?
the belief that women and men should be able to behave according to the roles given to them
the act of giving women the right to vote and run for office
the right that women have to exist in the “private sphere” of life
the right that women have to avoid the “public sphere”

Women's suffrage means that women have THE RIGHT TO VOTE AND RUN FOR OFFICE.

Before 19th century, women had no right to participate in elections, only men could vote and could occupy public posts. By means of the women's suffrage, they were given the right to vote and participate in politics.  

voracity is the noun corresponding to the adjective voracious, which means (1) eager to consume a great amount of food, or (2) marked by an insatiable appetite. veracity is far more common than the rare voracity, so the latter is sometimes used in place of the former.
