As a result of advances in social media, cell phone usage, and computer technology, do you think communication between people has become better or worse?

Due to the advances in social media etc I personally believe that communication online has become better because we can arrange to meet our friends, game with others around the world and make new friends that have the same interests as us, this is good because sometimes an internet friend can become your best friend and without being able to communicate to these people we would not have them as a friend
