With figuring what is wrong with this summary of " the gift of magi" what are the errors in this passage? errors include: word choice punctuation in complex and compound sentences. jim and della are a married couple who live a simple life. della is trying to get a gift for jim for christmas but she only has a dollar and 87 cents. she goes about thinking what she can do to get a gift for jim. she thinks about selling her most prized possession, her hair. she goes to a hair specialist and gets 20 bucks for her hair. then she returns home nervous about what jim will say about her hair. when jim comes home he is surprised about della's hair being cut. he had traded his gold watch to buy her combs. in conclusion, selflessness doesn't come from possessions it comes from showing someone you care.
