Write a short story about a dream in stream of consciousness style?

I sat up and looked around my room or what I what was supposed to be my room. But I was in the forest ,I stood up and the full moon was still up in the sky. I noticed a little pathway a couple feet away so I started to walk down it when I heard someone scream. I ran to where I heard the screaming,the was a old lady running at me ,then she stopped and grabbed me and told me to run the was a horrible monster running loose and no one could stop it then she took off again running and screaming for people to get to safety. I was confused and thought maybe she was just crazy so I went to have a look myself. I continued down the pathway till I saw it. It was a huge monstrous creature looked about 8 to 9 ft all covered in dark brown and black fur I looked like a werewolf almost.crouching down ,I backed up a twig snapped under my foot. it heard me and turned around I saw it’s bright red eyes the seemed to glow ,it looked down at me then snarled and ran towards me,I then spun around and took off.i felt stupid for not listening  to the old lady i should have ran with her to safety but I thought she was foolish and crazy. Then I was thrown into a huge boulder the monster had hit me .i was a little dizzy so when I tried to stand I just fell down I looked at my side it was covered in blood the monster had clawed me .when I looked back up it was right there in my face I tried to scream but I just wouldn’t come so I tried to backup but the rock was right behind me it had me cornered. It seemed to know that too it looked real pleased with itself and seemed to be laughing at me too my vision started to go black.

I woke up in my bed I was covered in sweat but alive and in my room.
