The second option is ‘the composition of the lines.’ Now the composition of a poem is more about the structure of the poem. It’s the way a poet organizes his or her or their thoughts and the way he or she or they would like the reader to read the poem.

This would be a good answer to the question because it very closely provides insight into the way a poet organizes thoughts and ideas. But before we jump to a conclusion and say this is the answer, let’s go ahead and review the other two answers as well.

Next, the third option.

The third option is ‘the sound of the rhythm.’ The sound of the rhythm is more for after the poet has completed writing the poem. After the poem is completed the poet can often review it to examine the rhythm and the rhyme schemes placed throughout.

So, this wouldn’t be the answer since the sound of the rhythm is more about rhythm, rather that provides insight into the way a poet organizes thoughts and ideas.

Finally, the fourth option.

The fourth option is ‘the use of figurative language.’ The use of figurative language could be related to the answer, but not the exact answer.
