Have you ever felt ashamed because of something you had no control over? for centuries, this has been something very common amongst mentally disabled individuals. mentally disabled people have faced a harsh stigma for many years from warped cultural and societal mindsets, and unfortunately, unlike that bad haircut you got in elementary school that everyone made fun of, some aren’t able to grow out of their dilemma. in of mice and men, a story about a man and his companion who is mentally handicapped, it’s easy to see how much times have done little to ease harsh societal expectations. the last sentence is supposed to be my thesis statement and the whole paragraph is supposed to be an introduction for my essay does it all make sense
