In the poem the speaker gets an immense fish while angling in a little leased vessel. She thinks about her catch for some time as, holding it up half out of water next to the pontoon. The fish is really old and intense looking, with barnacles and green growth developing on it, and it additionally has five angling snares with the lines still incompletely joined swinging from its jaw.  

The speaker thought about how extreme this fish must be and the amount he likely needed to battle. She starts to regard the fish. The lyric takes its last turn when the oil spillage in the vessel influences a rainbow and the speaker, to defeat with feeling by the fish and the scene, releases the fish.

and the reason being is because she get me in trouble for the smallest things that i really don't be doing all the time it be my friends that's around me.and i love to do things that other people but when she get on my nerves i don't talk to no one i just sit there and do my work half the time.
