The poem "Counting Small-boned Bodies" is about the Vietnam War.

Explanation: The poem "Counting Small-boned Bodies" was written by Robert Bly in 1967, that is to say it was written during the Vietnam War (1955 - 1975). In the poem,  the speaker makes reference to the act of counting the dead bodies belonging to the enemy force in order to determine the progress of the war. In that way, Bly uses satire and trivializes death to protest against the Vietnam War and the Pentagon method, which consisted in the daily publication of body-count statistics.
