Design a single linear phase equiripple FIR filter with two stopbands, the first stopband is from 100 KHz to 200 KHz the second stopband is from 500 KHz to 700 KHz. Other frequencies outside theserangesare in the passband. The sample rateis2MHz. The filter should have more than 50 dB attenuation at the center of the stopbands. The passbands shall have no more than 0.1dB of ripple. Plot the magnitude of the frequency response in Matlab and include this in your answer as well as your working Matlab code.

Amixture of slurry and mud is to be pumped through a horizontal pipe of diameter 500 mm. the fluid behaves as a bingham plastic with a yield stress of 30 pa and viscosity 0.04 pa. s. describe the effects of the shear stress through a transverse section of the pipe by plotting the variation in shear stress and velocity profile: (i) just before the slurry starts to move (ii) as the slurry flows when the pressure gradient is double that in part (i)
