Air at a static temperature of 20oC and a static pressure of 101 kPa flows through the inlet of aconvergent-divergent nozzle at the rate of 0.5 kg/s. The exit area of the nozzle is 1.355 times theinlet area. If the air leaves the nozzle at a static temperature of 20oC and a stagnation temperatureof 30oC, calculate the inlet and exit Mach numbers, the increase in entropy (if any) between theinlet and the outlet, the area at which the shock (if any) occurs and the stagnation pressure at theexit.
