Consider circuit below utilizing MOSFETs with VT = 2 V, (W/L)*kn’ = 1 mA/V2 , λ = 0.01 V-1 , CGS = 1 pF and CGD = 0.2 pF. VDD = VSS = 5 V, I0 = 0.5 mA, RS = RD = RL = 10 kΩ, CS = 1 µF, C2 is infinite, i. e. can be replaced with short circuit for all frequencies of interest. 1. Find the mid-band voltage gain; 2. Estimate the low and high 3dB cutoff frequencies fL and fH; 3. Sketch the magnitude frequency response Bode plot and mark it with the values found. 4. Replace RL with CL = 1 nF and repeat 1, 2 and 3.
