Layna and Aaron have made an electromagnet by coiling a copper wire around an iron nail, then connecting the wire to a battery, as seen in Figure 1. QUESTION: Layna says that they can increase the strength of their electromagnet by wrapping more coils of wire around the iron nail. Aaron says that they can increase the strength of the electromagnet by connecting a different battery to the wire.
