g 11. A 1-m diameter well fully penetrates a confined aquifer with a thickness of 10 m and hydraulic conductivity of 50 m/d. Prior to pumping, the initial piezometric surface was at an elevation of 15 m. Piezometric levels in monitoring wells located 50 m and 100 m from the pumping well were measured as 13.5 m and 14.0 m, respectively. Assuming steady-state conditions, calculate (a) the pumping rate and (b) the aquifer transmissivity.
