A bowling ball which is held by a mouse using a rope, accidentally fall down a floor slab as shown in Figure 1b. The mass of the ball is 1.5kg. Draw the free body diagram and force triangle of the equilibrium system. Determine the magnitude and direction of the smallest tension P in the rope to maintain the ball at its current position. Calculate the corresponding reaction force by the surface of the slab.
