Project: Researching a Local Sustainability Issue Assignment Directions
Your local government is researching the water management in the area. They have called on you as an environmental engineer to explain the current water management methods. You have been asked to describe the methods used by at least two other local areas and suggest the feasibility of adopting a new method. You must research this issue and provide your resources to support your reasoning. You may contact the local governments and find a person to interview, or you may research the issue in magazines or on the Internet. You will submit a three- to five-page report that includes a description of your area's water management methods, information about at least two other nearby areas, and a final analysis with a recommendation for a method. The recommendation may be that no change is made, but you must support your decision with facts and details found in your research.

Assignment Guidelines
Each report must include:

a description of the local area's water management methods
information about at least two other nearby areas’ water management methods
a final analysis with a recommendation
appropriate support including facts and details
a list of resources used for the report
Each analysis must include graphic representation.

Submission Requirements
Three to five pages double spaced
Proper grammar and vocabulary
