A PLC has a TON Timer block with 16-bit PV variable and maximum time base 1 sec. With this configuration, the maximum time the timer can handle is around 18.2 hours (assuming unsigned PV variable). It is required to turn on an output after 24 hours. One way to achieve the 24 hours is to combine the timer with a counter. Required:
Design a ladder logic program that turns on an output after 24 hours. For each timer you use, specify the time base and preset values. For each counter you use, specify the preset value. You do not have to repeat the output action every 24 hours. In other words, your design does not have to repeat the pattern every 24 hours. Assume any missing information.
