A pump for a steam power plant is used to raise the pressure from P3 to P4. The water at the pump inlet is a saturated liquid. The adiabatic pump has an isentropic efficiency of N. Do not assume that the specific heats are constant. Determine the following given the properties listed below. Given Values:

m (kg/s) = 35
P3 (Bar) = 0.08
P4 (Bar) = 1.5
EP (%) = 87

Required:
a. Determine the specific enthalpy (kJ/kg) at the pump inlet.
b. Determine the specific enthalpy (kJ/kg) at the pump exit if the pump was isentropic.
c. Determine the specific actual specific enthalpy (kJ/kg) at the pump exit.
d. Determine the input power (kW) required for the pump.
